Distributed computing, storage and radio resource allocation over cooperative femtocells

TROPIC introduces a new concept of femto-clouding whose main idea is to merge cloud computing with femtocells, thus enabling capillary distribution of the cloud computing capabilities closer to a potentially huge number of mobile users. The main challenge is to get to know, how to distribute computation or communication capabilities between mobile handsets and the cloud efficiently in order to deliver services with provable QoS in terms of latency, service continuity etc.
