On 9th December 2015, Rector of the Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU) Prof. Petr Konvalinka and Mr Brahima Sanou, Director of the International Telecommunication Union’s (ITU) telecommunications Development Bureau, signed the Cooperation Agreement between the ITU
and the CTU for Joint Human Capacity-building Activities. The agreement paves way for stronger involvement of the CTU in Spectrum Management Training Programme (http://www.mzv.cz/mission.geneva/en/specialized_agencies/international_t...).
The initiative follows up on a series of joint activates carried out together by the CTU and the ITU, coordinated of the Telecommunication Engineering Dept. of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering
of the CTU, including the most recent one held in Prague – the ITU Academy Event on Fostering Innovation and Partnerships in Human Capacity Building: Enhanced Engagement of Academia in the Work of the ITU (April 2014) and ITU Symposium and Workshop on small satellite regulation
and communication systems (March 2015).
